Nepal-Gyirong Administrative Division Dataset

This dataset was derived from the OpenStreetMap (OSM) open geographic database and acquired on August 31, 2026. Through spatial extraction and clipping, the dataset includes vector administrative boundary data (Shapefile format, .shp) for the national boundary of Nepal and the administrative units surrounding the Kyirong Port in Tibet, China. The Nepal component represents national-level administrative boundary data, while the Kyirong Port area contains relevant administrative unit boundaries. The dataset preserves the original OSM feature geometries and attribute fields, including administrative unit names, types, and spatial hierarchical relationships. It can serve as a fundamental spatial dataset for geographic research, cross-border transportation planning, and regional development analysis in the China–Nepal border region.
